Thailand's Sweet Reminder For Entrepreneurs
You and your business need to have an awesome relationship, and just like any great relationship you gotta keep it spicy! So what better way to spice up a launch of an Australia Tour than throwing a trip to Thailand into the mix... ha!
Ask any 'digital nomad' or 'location independent' life-styler, and they will tell you that travelling, organising visas and working within their guidelines, can sometimes put a spanner in the works. For what ever reason the requirement to leave a country, or visit an immigration office always seems to happen during times when you'd normally be head down, bum up. However, I have slowly learned to surrender to this process, and rather than see it as a pain in the ass... I now
Embrace what is & make
the most of the opportunity.
On this particular trip I'm on right now, I feel like I haven't worked properly for the last 5 days, and I am starting to get the guilts. I've managed to complete some bits and pieces between flights, a dose of Bali belly (ugh!), and zipping around town in a Tuk-Tuk.
And I can feel my anxiety levels going up when my mind wanders to my to-do-list, and what I would be doing if I were home at my Villa...
But then I stop myself.
If I were home at my Villa would I have had an elephant walk up to me in the street last night & give me an awesome and sloppy trunk kiss all the way down my arm?
If I were home at my Villa would I have met a fellow digital nomad on the rooftop of a 48 story building to have a cocktail and watch the sun set over Bangkok?
If I were home at my Villa would I have visited some amazing and sacred temples that help fuel my fire and spiritual practice?
The spice of life is needed.
I'm feeling alive (sacral chakra), I'm feeling inspired and I have so many stories in amongst my experiences to share. So when I DO get back to my Villa and allow myself the time and space to focus, I know the words are just going to flow.
Everything happens for a reason... so if an opportunity knocks on your door take it - even if it's not 'in the plan'... because really - who you are you to know what the universe really has in store for you?
